Action International, of Mountainlake Terrace, Washington, works with local churches to provide feeding programs for the malnourished children of the poorest communities of the Philippines. The program I had the privilege of visiting [pictured below], provided three healthy meals a week for a duration of three months. Because most of the children have worms, included in the minstry is one week of medically supervised treatment for worms. 

Because of the AIDS crisis in Zambia, one half of the population is under the age of 16. When you travel into the streets you are taken back by all of the children you see, many of them are homeless. But an even greater consequence of this epedemic is the heart breaking fact that many children are orphaned. In some cases, both the mother and the father have died of various diseases.

Action International has founded a home for the care of these precious children. You will see below some of the infants that are in the Kenyama home for orphaned infants.
